Wright-Phillips earns draw for U-21's

The City wing-back stepped off the bench on the hour-mark and 10 minutes from time grabbed the equaliser in the friendly at Boltons Reebok Stadium.

Wright-Phillips showed a cool head to score with a quality finish after he was released by Newcastle's Jermaine Jenas.

It capped a remarkable week for the City youngster, he was sent off against Everton last weekend only for the red card to be rescinded on appeal as he was about to link up with under-21s squad.
