As Roberto Mancini prepares to unleash Carlos Tevez, we ask the question, will Tevez be able to make a difference for City this season?
Mancini said: "What happened with Carlo six months ago is in the past. Carlo is part of our plans for the last two months, he is a City player.
"I think Carlo in this moment wants to play football. He needs to play football, for him and for his future. He wants to play. I can see in training he is perfect, better than last year."
He added: "He wants to play and deserves to play and help the team."I have always thought Carlo is a top player, even when we had the problem."
Tevez has scored six times against Chelsea in the Premier League and is expected to be on the bench for the first time since September.
Most fans will be asking if bringing the Argentine back is the correct decision.
Despite a public backing from his manager, could Tevez's actions have already plagued the club enough?
A season will a fully-fit Tevez could have possibly seen City sitting comfortably at the top of the table rather then trailing rivals United.
Can Tevez make a difference for City this season?
