The Carlos Tevez saga is set to continue as the Argentine is said to have been 'humiliated' by United and City appear to be favourites to sign the striker.
Elsewhere, a number of other targets have surfaced, with Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o, and Everton and Arsenal defenders Joleon Lescott and Kolo Toure all reported to be in Hughes' sights. Didier Drogba is another name that has surfaced this morning. Mark Hughes is ready to make a bid for the Ivory Coast international, should he reject a new contract at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Santos president Marcelo Teixeira has claimed his club are in 'permanent contact' with Robinho, and feels the club still have a chance of signing the Brazilian. Referring to City, Teixeira says 'if the club sign the big players then Robinho will stay, but if they don't, Santo will have a chance to bring him back.'
Mr Teixeira hasn't heard about the Gareth Barry signing then?
