The game will take place at the Madejski Stadium on Monday August 2nd, and will be the First Division outfit's final warm-up match before the league season begins so will be keenly contested.
Part of the proceeds from the match will go to Shaun Goater's football charity for children in his native Bermuda.
The former Blues striker notched 14 goals in 38 appearances in his first season since leaving City.
