The latest British soap opera, The Carlos Tevez Saga continues to roll ever onwards with his advisor Kia Joorabchian claiming City are the club 'with most chances, but not a decisive factor,' the clearest indication yet that the blues are favourites to land the Argentine.
Tevez' contract does not expire until 30th June and the football world should find out then if he is to join Mark Hughes' Eastlands revolution, Chelsea or a third unnamed club. If he does sign for City, it will be a clear sign of intention from the blues that we are no longer going to be classes as also-rans. That honour will one day belong across the City.
In the meantime, Barcelona are said to be readying an offer for David Villa, fuellign speculation that Samuel Eto'o is on his way from the Nou Camp with City a possible destination. If he does sign, let's hope for more goals like the opener in Rome last month.
England defender Joleon Lescott is said to be interested in joining the blues as hee feels Everton have gone as far as they can, according to the Metro this morning. The Toffees have already said they will reject any offer from City but £15m, Jo and a packet of Murray Mints might just do the trick to get his signature and allow Richard 'own goal' Dunne to move to Sunderland for £5m.
