The blues have been locked in talks regarding the transfer of the Argentine striker to ensure any deal meets FA guidelines and yesterday announced that a deal had been struck between the club and the group that own Tevez's economic rights.
Tevez will sign a five year contract at Eastlands and will wear the number 32 shirt for the new season. He joins Gareth Barry, Roque Santa Cruz and Stuart Taylor as City's close season new boys.
The blues have also confirmed they are in talks to sign Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor for a reputed fee of around £20m. the Togo striker has been said to have a 'strained' relationship with manager Arsene Wenger and was touted to move to AC Milan but he has apparently told friends he is looking forward to move north.
