Carlos Tevez may be forced to delay his return to Old Trafford in City colours.
The Argentine striker was injured last weekend during his national side’s 3-1 home defeat to Brazil and is definitely out of the clash with Arsenal. Manager Mark Hughes was hoping Tevez would be fit for the derby but the club have been advised that Tevez may need two to three weeks to recover by Argentina’s medical advisors.
It will be a big blow to the player as well as City if he is ruled out of the game. The Argentine was hoping to make a point to United manager Sir Alex Ferguson by scoring against his former club.
