Manchester City have completed the protracted transfer of Argentine striker Carlos Tevez and will now turn their attention to luring Emmanuel Adebayor to Eastlands.
City confirmed the signing of Tevez in a press conference this afternoon in a move which underlines their ambition and determination to break into the top four next season. It is also the second time the blues have beaten Chelsea to the signature of a top player after pinching Robinho from under their noses last summer.
The blues will now turn their attentions to completing their forward line with Adebayor. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is willing to part company with the Togo striker for a reputed £20m
Once the attacking line up is complete, manager Mark Hughes will then turn his attention to defence and the club are still confident of coaxing John Terry away from Stamford Bridge and Joloen Lescott from Everton.
