Keegan returns to the City dug-out against Southampton tomorrow and explains in the official programme that he did a spot of spring cleaning and unpacking.
He said: "People have been asking me how I occupied my time while I was off and when I wasn't on the phone to Arthur.
"Obviously there was only so much I was able to do because of my condition but I found myself going through all my memorabilia and newspaper cuttings right back to my days at Scunthorpe.
"All the stuff was in boxes because we have moved house 18 times in my career. So I was able to start filing things properly and have a sort-out.
"A big bonus was finding my dad's war medals because I thought I had lost them."
