The 20-year-old is not letting himself get distracted by such talk, however, and insists he is content to focus on on-pitch matters for TFC.
"I try not to take too much interest in all this because I want to concentrate on my football," the Mali-born France Under-21 international told L'Equipe.
"Yes, it's nice to see that such clubs are interested in me. But I work with my club, and I let my uncle (Bakari Sanogo), who is my agent, deal with it.
"And if something should happen, it will. But for now, I'm in Toulouse, and I'm fine."
When pressed as to which clubs he was referring to, Sissoko replied: "It is the name of City (Manchester) who appears, and Lyon from time to time. But I try not to take much notice. It is the job of my agent, and mine is on the field.
"I want to best prepare for the best season in Toulouse, and especially on doing better than last year."
