City's ?38million record signing made a dramatic debut as he came off the bench to score twice and set up another goal in a 4-0 season-opening Barclays Premier League win over Swansea.
The Argentinian forward had been kept waiting for his City bow throughout last week's Community Shield and for a further 60 minutes at the Etihad Stadium, but he quickly made up for lost time.
Making his point: Sergio Aguero celebrates during his sensational bow
? The 23-year-old told City TV: 'I am happy. The start was really good and I want to keep like this. It was nice.
'I had a chance to play a little bit and I enjoyed it.
'I helped the team and I want to keep doing the same in the future.'
Aguero had been held back by manager Roberto Mancini as a precaution due to a lack of match fitness.

The former Atletico Madrid star began pre-season late after representing his country at the Copa America until mid-July.
Aguero said: 'He knows how I am and it was okay for me to play 30-35 minutes.'
On the good reception he received from fans, Aguero added: 'The only way for me to thank them is on the pitch and keep doing what I do best.'?
Aguero was delighted with his debut and said on Twitter: 'Very happy with my debut for City. Hopefully the start of something big. Thank you to my team-mates and the fans for their support.'
With a bit of this (will need re-write) Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart and skipper Vincent Kompany both feel that there is a lot more to come from Sergio Aguero after his starring role against Swansea.

The Argentine striker came on to score two and gain an assist in a stunning half-hour cameo that demonstrated the kind of quality that he could bring to City's challenge in the Premier League and Europe.
His second goal in particular caused a feverish buzz around the Etihad Stadium, with a stunning drive from 25 yards flying into Michel Vorm's right-hand corner to make the score 4-0.
Hart summed up his performance with a simple compliment for their latest expensive addition, but felt that there was much that they had yet to see.
Icing on the cake: Aguero's second goal was a long-range blockbuster
'He's decent,' said Hart. 'He's come in, ?38m is a big price, but it's ?38m well spent. We've not seen much of him so far, the manager has kept him well protected.'
Kompany added: 'He's come in with a surprise. The great thing for me was that he was defending too. That's important.'
