Last month 16-year-old striker Daniel Sturridge agreed a new three-year contract, while Joey Barton finally resolved his future by signing a four-year deal to 2010 today.
And despite paper talk of a move away for Richards, the promising 18-year-old defender also committed to the Blues until 2010 today - despite having 2 years left on his previous deal.
“Various clubs showed an interest but neither Micah, his father or his agent wanted to take him away from this club," Blues bloss Stuart Pearce told the official City website.
“When he was given his contract to read he barely looked at it. Instead he made it crystal clear that all he wanted to do was play for his football here."
Chairman John Wardle expressed his satisfaction at securing the long-term future of City's young stars.
“People have endlessly speculated about the future of Danny Sturridge, Joey Barton and Micah Richards – all of them have ended the debate once and for all," he said.
“This football club cherishes its young talent, nurtures them and gives them every opportunity to play first-team football.”
