But Stu wants City to take advantage of Charlton's recent slump to kick-off a return to form and take us into the New Year full of confidence.
"We have a very tough period coming up, and looking at all the games coming in December it makes or breaks your season," he told the City website.
"If you come out of Christmas with more good results than bad then you have your tails up leading into January and the end of the season. It's important with these next few games and the Christmas period that we get as many good results as we can."
Claudio Reyna could return to the City side following a leg injury while Trevor Sinclair, who has just returned to the City squad from a knee injury, has shrugged off a minor groin problem.
