There is no love lost between the pair after Mourinho said Pellegrini's achievement of guiding Real Madrid to 2nd place in La Liga behind Barcelona with a record points haul in 2010 only made him 'first loser' after being named as his successor.
Mourinho appeared to antagonise his Manchester City counterpart with his celebrations after Chelsea's last-minute winner at Stamford Bridge - the 'Special One' launched himself into the home crowd after Fernando Torres took advantage of a defensive error to slot home.
When quizzed afterwards as to why he went straight down the tunnel without shaking Mourinho's hand, the Manchester City boss simply replied: "I didn't shake hands. I didn't want to."
He added of Mourinho's celebration: "I did not expect anything different from him. It is normal."
