The Blues may be out of contention for European qualification but Pearce wants to go into the summer on a high - not only to reward the fans for their loyalty but also to get the best league position as possible.
"It's important if we can go on some kind of mini-run that takes us undefeated to the end of the season," he told the official City website.
"From the supporters' point of view and the loyalty that they have shown, it's also important. I have been to various supporters clubs functions during the bad run that we have had and I have not had 1 person come up to me and suggest that I am having a bad time.
"The only thing I have ever had from them is support, which is fantastic, and you think, 'these people deserve an unbeaten run until the end of the season'.
"That will give a lift into the summer and maybe give the opportunity to bring in a few new faces to go with what we have already got here."
The higher City finish, the greater prize money the club gets from the Premier League, and Pearce admits we are currently below target.
"The club has budgeted to finish in a certain position and at the moment, we are under it," Pearce added.
"We need to finish a touch higher just to be on track."
