The 26-year-old has been a first-team regular for the club this season.
He may have scored only two goals in 10 appearances, but his primary contribution has come through the six assists. According to Sky Sports, the Frenchman praised Pellegrini and said that he is ready to show his best. He said:
"Last year was a bit difficult for me personally because of the problem I had in the Euros and other stuff.
"So this summer, I cleared my head and came back with determination to have a great season. But right now everything is fine. I'm in a better place and that's what I want.
"I feel that he [Pellegrini] trusts me and that he gives me responsibilities on the pitch."
The 26-year-old had problems with the French national team during the Euro 2012. He was suspended for three matches by the French Football Federation.
