Manchester City's James Milner is keen to secure more silverware after last season's FA Cup success. Last season Manchester City had one of their most successful seasons in top flight football, qualifying for Champions League football by finishing third place in the league and winning the FA Cup, their first major trophy in 35 years. However, Milner, who joined City in 2010 in a deal worth £26million, has stated his side's intention that they want to improve and finish in second at least; especially after £51million has been spent on Sergio Aguero, Gael Clichy and Stefan Savic.Speaking to the Daily Star, the former Leeds United and Aston Villa midfielder said: "We finished third last season, which was good, but we want to improve every season - and we're challenging."We'll get on with our business, we know where we want to get to. Other clubs might fear City after last year and then this summer when they see the club spending money. The 25-year-old also added that winning the FA Cup has brought extra respect to the Etihad Stadium, but also said that, despite fear from other teams following their win, the England international feels that there is now extra pressure for the Citizens to bring home silverware."We've won a trophy so now it's down to us to improve again and make people take notice," he added."As a team it was great for us to win the FA Cup and now we've done that, and got the first one out the way, it gives us the confidence to win more."Hopefully that is the first of many."There is pressure there but we apply it to ourselves both as individuals and a team."We want to succeed on the training field and in the games. The pressure we put on ourselves is always greater than the pressure from outside anyway."
