Manchester City predicted lineup vs Liverpool - FA Cup

Manchester City aim to book their place in the FA Cup final on Saturday afternoon as they meet Liverpool at Wembley.

Pep Guardiola's men are fresh from Champions League progression, having seen out their quarter-final tie against Atletico Madrid with an unruly 0-0 draw to secure a 1-0 aggregate victory. That made it two draws in succession, having previously played out a 2-2 classic against Liverpool in the Premier League.

Also boasting two massively watchable draws behind them, Jurgen Klopp's men represent a gargantuan obstacle to the FA Cup final.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Ederson (GK) - Has played just once in the FA Cup this campaign but should be the one to keep net against the threat of Liverpool.

Joao Cancelo (RB) - Kyle Walker is set to miss out after picking up an injury in midweek, so there could be some reshuffling at the back.

John Stones (CB) - With Ruben Dias' possible return, Stones should be the one to retain his place after a colossal showing on Wednesday.

Ruben Dias (CB) - Made the bench at Atletico and could be in line for a return for a massive game this weekend.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (LB) - With Cancelo potentially switching flanks in the absence of Walker, Zinchenko could play his part at left-back - talk about creativity from the flanks.

2. Midfielders

Rodri (DM) - Has become a pivotal cog in this frightening machine, and should be awarded another start at the heart of the side.

Bernardo Silva (CM) -
Set for a return to the starting XI after being rested in midweek.

Ilkay Gundogan (CM) -
Like Walker, Kevin De Bruyne is set to be out of contention through injury, so Gundogan could keep his spot in midfield.

3. Forwards

Gabriel Jesus (RW) - Missed out in Madrid through suspension but should come back in for this one, having scored against Liverpool in his last appearance.

Raheem Sterling (ST) - Deployed in a central role when Liverpool visited the Etihad less than a week ago, Sterling's pace in behind could be utilised again here.

Jack Grealish (LW) - A bit of rotation after a physically draining Wednesday night could see Grealihs return to the starting contingent.
