James Milner could be on the bench for Manchester City after recovering from a hamstring problem that has restricted him to five appearances in two months. The midfielder last featured for City as a substitute in the 1-1 Premier League draw with Fulham on 27 February.
Milner has now returned to training and while not fully fit, City boss Roberto Mancini may name him as a substitute.
Mancini said: "James is not 100% but has worked with us for the past week and probably can go on the bench."
The Europa League tie looks to have come too early for Milner's international colleague Adam Johnson, who has missed 12 games with an ankle injury.
The 23-year-old winger is back in training and may return for the Premier League tie with Chelsea on Sunday.
