Man City predicted lineup vs Tottenham - Premier League

Manchester City's search for a fourth Premier League title in five years begins at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, as Pep Guardiola's men take on Nuno Espirito Santo's Spurs.

City have not won at Spurs' spiritual home since 2015, only triumphing on their travels during their spell at Wembley. They've lost all three games at the club's new billion pound stadium without scoring a goal.

As the Harry Kane saga rumbles on, how will Guardiola set up his side for their trip to north London? Let's have a look...

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Zack Steffen (GK) - Ederson rejoined the Man City camp recently after a summer away with Brazil, but Guardiola could stand by deputy Steffen.

Joao Cancelo (RB) - Truly announced himself as one of the Premier League's leading full-backs last season. Kyle Walker's late arrival will spare him from boos from Spurs fans.

Ruben Dias (CB) - Revolutionised City's defence since his arrival from Benfica. Will be looking to put a disappointing summer with Portugal behind him.

Nathan Ake (CB) - Has often been one of the players linked with a move to Spurs as part of a possible Kane deal. Needs a big performance after giving away a penalty in the Community Shield.

Benjamin Mendy (LB) - Fallen way down the pecking order in recent seasons, but should be afforded a start here.

2. Midfielders

Fernandinho (DM) - The club captain still has plenty to give despite turning 36 this year.

Rodri (CM) - After a testing first season in England, Rodri has started to look at home in City's midfield.

Ilkay Gundogan (CM) - Coming off the back of his best individual season after scoring 17 goals in all competitions - including 13 in just 28 Premier League games.

3. Forwards

Riyad Mahrez (RW) - One of several big-name City players who's unhappy with their playing time, but is expected to feature from the off on Sunday.

Ferran Torres (CF) - With Gabriel Jesus only returning to training in recent days, it looks like it's time for the Spaniard to step into a central role once more. Ferrando Torres, anyone?

Jack Grealish (LW) - England's first £100m man is in line for his full debut at the club he was close to joining a few years ago.
