It has been reported this morning that Everton defender Joleon Lescott will hand in a transfer request in order to secure a move to Eastlands.
Everton have so far turned down City’s approaches and it seems the only way the blues will be successful in their attempts to land the player will have to be instigated by the player himself.
Meanwhile Everton manager David Moyes has hit out at the blues saying they have shown a lack of respect. “I think I would go about my business the way I have always done,” moans Moyes, who has said all along that they would not sell Lescott for less than £20m but have now changed the price to £30m. There’s a lack of respect in itself.
