Ireland Misses Wigan Match

The City midfielder picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 2-2 away draw against Blackburn Rovers on 28th December and had been due to serve his automatic one game ban in last weekend's away match against Portsmouth.

However, following the postponement of the game at Fratton Park, Ireland will now be forced to sit out the match against Wigan at Eastlands on Saturday afternoon.
