Capped by England at Under 20 level, the full-back made his debut for the Premier League club in their final game of last season, coming on as a late substitute in the 2-0 win at Bolton.
The 19-year-old should be included in manager Paul Jewell's squad for the match against Brighton on Saturday.

? 'We're pleased to have Reece here,' Jewell told the club's website.
'He's quick and strong and although he can play in the middle of the defence, I see him here as a right-back and someone who can give competition to Carlos Edwards in that position.
'I spoke to David Platt [City coach] about him at length and they think he will be good enough for their team eventually.'
