The England international is likely to sit out the showpiece against Sunderland, according to reports, with Costel Pantilimon set to start in his place.
"You have to be able to accept when you are playing or not," Hart said in an interview with the BBC's Football Focus, quoted by the Guardian.
"When managers have got decisions to make, whether it benefits me or not, I have to be man enough to take it. I work hard every day to win and I understand it doesn't always go my way and you have to move forward."
Pantilimon took Hart's place in the first team for a period in the autumn after a series of high-profile errors from the former Shrewsbury man.
The England number one is now back as the team's regular goalkeeper, but his understudy has by and large been first choice for the domestic cup competitions.
