Goater will be acting as a guide and advisor to his country's team and will also accompany them in the games' opening ceremony.
“It is a great honour but at the same time I would have liked to have had the opportunity to play in Denmark and remind the gaffer what I can do and perhaps give him a few selection headaches,” Goater told the club’s official website.
