The Argentina international has been suspended by his club after apparently refusing to come off the substitutes' bench during the 2-0 Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich last week.
Given admitted Tevez was in the wrong if that proves to be what he did, but he is waiting for the outcome of the ongoing investigation into the striker's conduct.
The Republic of Ireland international said: "I don't know, there are always two sides to every story.
"I think he's wrong if it is true what has happened, but you need to wait and see what the full outcome is going to be."
