"I am really enjoying my time here," he said.
"I am happy and I feel settled and I would like to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
"The best way I can ensure that is by continuing to play as well as I can. I admit that City fans have not yet seen the best of me on a consistent basis but I feel I am improving in that respect.
"It is not always easy coming to a new club in a new country especially when international call-ups and suspension have sometimes disrupted things. But it was a nice feeling to get off the mark in a game that was important to win.
