Barcelona are expected to sanction Samuel Eto'o's move to Manchester City in order to fund their own move for Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.
The European Champions have offered Eto'o a two year extension to his current contract which the Cameroon striker and his agent are said to be mulling over. Now it appears that Eto'o doesn't figure in Barca's plans for the future and may be set to join Gareth Barry, Roque Santa Cruz and Stuart Taylor on City's list of new boys.
If Eto'o does sign for the blues, it may well mean an early exit for Craig Bellamy. The Welsh striker signed for the blues during the January transfer window despite interest from Spurs but with City's new strike force plus the imminent arrival of Carlos Tevez, Bellamy will find himself surplus to requirements and may head back to London with Spurs leading the chase for his signature.
