Hat trick heroes Erling Haaland and Phil Foden have commented on their 'dream' Manchester derby win over Man Utd at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The two young stars were in inspired form in the win, sharing City's six goals between them, with Haaland also bagging a brace of assists to boot.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Foden called his derby hat trick a 'dream come true'.
"It's a dream come true, playing in the derby, being a City fan as well. Me and Erling have built a connection now and we're finding each other [with the ball].
"It's been a pleasure to be a part of this team."
As expected, Haaland was slightly more muted in his assessment of his first derby, and third hat trick in three home league games, stating: "Yeah, not bad.
"We scored six goals, what can you say, it's amazing to win at home and score six goals here...yeah...it's nice."
"You can feel it all the time, you see the passes we give each other, we always want to go forward. We always want to attack and this is what I love about this team.
"In the end, it's amazing, there's nothing more to say."
"I think we get one each, no?" Foden said when asked about which hat trick scorer would get to keep the match ball. "Yeah I think we have to," replied Haaland. "One for the first half and one for the second half."
