Duo ruled out of Baggies clash

Schmeichel has a calf injury while Berkovic has been struggling with a strain to a stomach muscle and both were pulled out of training on Friday by City boss Kevin Keegan.

"There will be no Peter Schmeichel or Eyal Berkovic for Saturday," Keegan told the club's official website.

"We pulled them both out of training this morning believing that was the sensible thing to do and to give them an extra week to shake off their injuries."
