Tickets for the traditional season-opening fixture range from ?20 to ?45, with United fans set to be located in the east side of the national stadium and City supporters in the west.
It will be the second Manchester derby at Wembley in the space of four months after City beat United 1-0 in the FA Cup semi-finals on April 16.
The Blues went on to win the cup, their first trophy in 35 years, while United recovered to secure a record 19th league title.
