Aarhus beat Silkeborg 1-0 in the opening game and City drew 0-0 in their 45 minutes against Silkeborg.
The game with Silkeborg was settled with the players dribbling from the half-way line before shooting, Silkeborg taking the honours 2-1.
City then needed to win their final game against Aarhus and with goals by Kevin Horlock and Ali Bernabia they won 2-0 and topped the tournament table on goal difference.
