With less then a week to go before the start of the new season, Manchester City ended their pre season with a 3-2 defeat to Arsenal.
Despite taking the lead through Sergio Aguero just after the half hour mark, a short range finish from an excellent cross from Raheem Sterling, the Gunners hit back immediately after the break with an Alex Iwobi finish after a quick counter attack.
Arsenal scored again in the 73rd minute, Theo Walcott dinking the ball over Joe Hart after a simple give and go with Alexis Sanchez. The Citizens stepped up their game after this goal, but lacked the cutting edge to pull level. Yaya Toure skied their best chance over before Chuba Akpom sealed the Arsenal victory.
