City in Europe

Although City finished ninth in last season's Premiership table they can look forward to taking on the cream of Europe for the first time since 1979 in their new stadium next season.

The first qualifying round tie City will play in will take place on August 14th, just two days before the new Premiership season starts on August 16th, meaning City are likely to play their first league fixture on the Sunday.

The draw for the UEFA Cup qualifying round will take place on June 20th.
