Ahead of a service being held in memory of the popular Cameroon international, the City chairman outlined his intentions to set up a special game for the former City star at the new Eastlands stadium.
“This memorial service will give us all an opportunity to reflect upon this very sad loss and to pay our own personal tribute to a man who contributed so much to our final season at Maine Road.
"We are looking to play a game here, possibly in September, in memory of Marc," he said.
"We will put some kind of memorial, some type of garden in his memory but we will do something at the stadium."
The memorial service takes place at Manchester Cathedral on Wednesday, July 16th at 7.30pm.
