Berkovic Player of the Month

The Israeli international has stood out in a month where City struggled in the Premiership and perhaps had his best game so far this season as City beat Birmingham 2-0.
Berkovic has kept his form whilst his midfield partner, Ali Bernabia, has seen his dip and Kevin Keegan has no doubt that Berkovic deserves the award, telling the official site what he thought.
"Obviously Peter Schmeichel must have come into the equation but Eyal has played every game and his contribution has been tremendous, especially on Saturday at Birmingham when for the first time, we went without the two playmakers. He had to take responsibility and he did that."
"That might have been his best performance of the season on Saturday bearing in mind he was away from home. His use of the ball was good and he made the first goal."
"He is only now fulfilling the potential which he has got and has got lost in various places. In a month when things haven't particularly gone our way his level of performances have been very, very good."
