"When I was at Highbury I was an out and out striker, a scorer of goals but first at Real Madrid and then at Paris St Germain I learned to play behind the strikers. Now I do both.
"I feel I have different dimensions to my game now and I am a more complete player because of it."
"This club suits me, I am respected and everything is fine. I am enjoying my time here and I aim to put that to good use," said the shy but at ease striker, who has moved into a new house in South Manchester.
"I have never been happier and why should that change? My only interest is to play well for Manchester City and bring them success this season.
"I am looking forward to going back to Arsenal. It is important for the team that we start to pick up points away from home and Highbury would be a great place to start.
"I went back there twice last season with Liverpool and the reception from the fans was OK but I don't care about that, only Manchester City and our own performance.
