Ridiculous story of the day has to go to this fine piece of rubbish that City are prepared to offer John Terry wages of £1m per month if he was to join the Eastlands revolution.
It is however, more than likely that Terry will resist leaving Chelsea despite the lure of football's most exaggerated wages in recent times.
How this figure has been decided upon is beyond comprehension; even the most idiotic of businessmen would not disclose the amount they are willing to pay for a player before they have even had a bid accepted and ADUG didn't make their money by being stupid.
Despite this, it will not stop those who will have been sucked in by this report and now embark on a new City-bashing mission, saying how evil the club is and how we are ruining football. We await the onslaught.
In other news, City are rumoured to be again ready to raid their feeder club Aston Villa, this time for England winger Ashley Young. The blues are rumoured to be preparing an £18m bid for the player.
Young would be a great addition but come on Mr Hughes, let's get that defence sorted.
