The name on everyone's lips after an apparent 'misunderstanding' according to Tevez led to the impression that the Manchester City player refused to come on as a sub in the 2-0 defeat against Munich in the Champions League. Mancini was in no doubt there was no confusion on the bench and angrily stated "Can you imagine a Bayern Munich, Milan or Man United player doing this? If we want to improve as a team Carlos can't play with us. With me, he is finished."
The player is now suspended whilst the club investigates their options.
At the end of the previous transfer window, Carlos Tevez reluctantly revealed he'd have to stay with Manchester City for a while longer.
Tevez must now be sure to leave in January with potential suitors already lining up across Europe with Italy mentioned strongly and of course there is always Corinthians if they can now afford him.
