The 'Hitman', who is a diehard Blue, has not fought in Britain since beating Kostya Tszyu at the M.E.N. Arena in June 2005 and he wants to repay his fans for all their support while fighting in the U.S.
The fight will be on Saturday, May 24th - a Bank Holiday Saturday - and is expected to be his last on home soil. Hatton is likely to face Juan Lazcano in defence of his IBO Light-Welterweight world title.
The fight is scheduled to start at around 9pm to suit the British audience and it promises to be a truly memorable occasion.
The stadium will hold 55,000 fans for the fight, making it one of the biggest-ever staged in boxing history.
"This is my opportunity to thank all those fans from across the UK who have supported me over the years and the 30,000 who travelled over to Las Vegas pre-Christmas to cheer me on against Floyd Mayweather Junior," said Hatton.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, starting at £30.
